Garlic Beef with Berry Salad

  • 4 flat iron beef steaks (about 6 oz each)

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt & Pepper

  • 1 tsp butter

  • 4 c fresh salad greens

  • 1 c mixed berries

  • Olive oil

  • Berry Vinegar (any kind) or Apple Cider Vinegar

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Place steaks into a bowl, sprinkle with garlic granules, salt and pepper then use your hands to massage the seasoning into the steaks until they are evenly coated. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium high heat and cook steaks to your preference.

Cooking time will vary according to size and thickness of your steaks. I go about 5 min per side for medium rare.

Step 2

While the steaks are cooking arrange your salad greens over 4 plates and share the berries over each salad.

Step 3

When steaks are done to your liking serve them beside the salads.

Drizzle the salads with olive oil and berry vinegar then sit down and enjoy this super-quick and tasty dinner that took less than 30 minutes to prepare!
